Discovery Centre International (DCI) continues to make strides in global collaboration, fostering innovation in STEAM education. Recently, the DCI team spent some time in Sri Lanka, working closely with BMICH Sri Lanka to explore opportunities that will empower the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs in this country. This visit marks another milestone in DCI’s mission to bring world-class science education and learning experiences to communities worldwide.
DCI was honoured to collaborate with former Sri Lankan President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga and key BMICH board members, including Indira Malwatte, Prashan Fernandes, Kamal Abeysinghe, and Roshan Ratwatte. Discussions focused on advancing STEAM education and ensuring young minds have access to cutting-edge learning opportunities. This partnership highlights the value of international collaboration in shaping the future of science and innovation. Together, DCI and BMICH aim to create science centre initiatives that drive educational and economic development in Sri Lanka.
With successful projects in Canada, Brazil, and beyond, Discovery Centre International continues to make STEAM education more accessible world-wide. DCI looks forward to strengthening this partnership and supporting the growth of STEAM education in Sri Lanka.
